Our Staff

PASTOR

Rev. Jennifer Amy-Dressler is pastor and teacher of Open Table UCC, serving since April 2019. Between education and life events, she has experienced faith across a range of expressions, which makes the United Church of Christ a natural fit. Pastor Jennifer holds a Master of Ministry from Earlham School of Religion (Quaker) in Richmond, IN, and a graduate diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction from San Francisco Theological Seminary (Presbyterian). She is a proud LGBTQ+ ally with a rainbow family. She enjoys poetry, music, good food with good conversation, raising and cooking organic produce, and being outdoors.

ASSISTANT TO CHURCH TREASURER

Wendy Arceo serves as the Office Administrator and assistant to the church treasurer. She has served in this position since 2014. Wendy helps in the ministry of the church through marketing and promoting church events, editing and printing weekly inserts and Sunday bulletins, and supplying office support for Pastor Jennifer and the Leadership Table. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling, and being outdoors.

Musicians

Open Table UCC is blessed to have three musicians on staff. Anne Badger and Sarah Reckmeyer share duties as worship pianists. Donna Martin serves as choir director.

Anne Badger

Anne Badger is a free-lance pianist in the Illinois Valley and teaches piano and organ lessons. She serves as the Executive Director of the Ottawa Center for the Arts.

Sarah Reckmeyer

Sarah Reckmeyer is the retired Director of Bands from Ottawa Township High School. She performs in the Illinois Valley on clarinet and accompanies school ensembles and the Ottawa Community Pride Choir.

Donna Martin

Donna Martin is the retired Director of Bands from Ottawa Elementary Schools. She performs as a flutist in the Illinois Valley and conducts the Ottawa Community Pride Choir.
